Wedding Stationery

I love Love! And I’ve loved working with clients over the past five years to create memorable and personalized wedding and event stationery in a range of styles and mediums that set the tone for folks’ big days. Here are a few suites from over the years.

Let’s work together! Email me at rhihare@gmail.com to get started.

Namrata & Matthew

MAY 2021

Namrata and Matthew had a small backyard wedding that stretched across multiple days. We worked together to create illustrations for a digital invitation, website, event signage and a ceremony program that evoked Nam’s South Indian heritage and felt clean, modern, and casual. As not everyone attending the event was familiar with a traditional Telugu wedding, spot illustrations helped educate guests on the meaning and history behind different events and rituals and what to wear.

Liz & Bryan

JULY 2021

Liz and Bryan got married at a bowling alley in Portland, Maine. For their stationery, they wanted to highlight the landscapes and features of the place they live and love, including their local lighthouse and scenes of the rocky coast, and of course, their one-eyed cat George. For their main stationery suite, we used Public Domain paintings of coastal Maine available through Smithsonian’s Open Access collection. A digital portrait of the couple created in early design rounds of suite exploration got repurposed for a playfully utilitarian favor: bowling socks!

Rhiannon & Sam

March 2023

Getting to create me and my husband’s own wedding stationery was such an exciting opportunity! We got married at a historic venue with whimsical interiors and a greenery-filled brick courtyard. The stationery set the tone for our colorful, eclectic, vintage-inspired, laid back wedding, bringing a taste of New Orleans to our guests. The style established in the stationery suite carried through to the day of details with garden flags, signage and cocktail napkins. The textile installation on the ceremony bridge was a collaboration with Sharime Kayla Floral Design. Featured in Green Wedding Shoes, July 2023

Thomas & Lauren

JULY 2019

Thomas and Lauren got married on the hottest day of the year at an Arts and Crafts, Jacobean Revival mansion in Massachusetts. We set the tone for their event with a watercolor venue illustration, classic but clean typography, dusty color palette, and letterpress printed suite, where each piece was individually hand-painted and gold-leafed and outfitted with a wax seal. This carried over at the event via signage, menus, and hand-painted place cards.
